ResonAnt is a chamber music initiative based in Antwerp.
The project presents concerts in historically and architecturally significant locations across the city, with a particular focus on intimate listening settings that engage in dialogue with their surroundings. In addition to its foundation at Zebrahuis, ResonAnt develops collaborations with other venues, including the Paleis op de Meir.
Within each programme, the relationship between a location’s architectural context and the musical repertoire is central. Elements drawn from the history and identity of a site are integrated into the programming, allowing architecture, past, and the contemporary performance moment to be experienced as a cohesive whole.
